Vintage - 1970’s Chevron Wool Poncho Vest
A true rare find from the era when clothing was made to last. Features a natural/black/tan chevron print on woven wool body framed with warm caramel wool panels, finished with its original self-tie belt and round buckle to shape the silhouette. Designed with open vented sides for easy layering, a flattering V-neckline, and two functional front pockets. Fully lined in rust satin with a back zip closure.
This is a slow fashion piece made before fast fashion existed — crafted from real wool, naturally insulating, durable, and biodegradable. The textile quality and construction speak to thoughtful mid-century craftsmanship.
Condition: Fair, wearable vintage with small moth holes visible on the solid wool panels. Still beautifully wearable and full of character — priced accordingly.
